Quality Framework
How We Verify Every Water Credit
Our multi-layered verification framework ensures that every $JAL token represents real, measurable water impact — never paper claims.
The Four Pillars of Trust
Every project passes through our rigorous verification pipeline before a single $JAL is minted.
Data Integrity
- Operator uploads verified against regional historical baselines
- Cross-referenced with satellite imagery and municipal records
- Anomaly detection flags readings that deviate >15% from expected patterns
Oracle Verification
- 3-of-5 Threshold Multisig Oracle Ring validates every data submission
- Independent oracle nodes operated by geographically distributed validators
- Consensus required before any $JAL minting instruction executes
Challenge Escrow
- 3-day locking window on all newly minted $JAL claims
- Community validators can audit and dispute submissions on-chain
- Fraudulent claims are slashed and redistributed to honest reporters
Transparency
- All verification events published as immutable Solana transactions
- Real-time audit trail accessible through public block explorers
- Project-level impact dashboards with drill-down analytics
Scoring Methodology
Project Quality Scorecard
Each project is scored across six weighted categories. Only projects scoring above 80% are listed on the Jal marketplace.
| Category | Weight | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Baseline Accuracy | 25% | How precisely the pre-project water usage baseline is established and documented. |
| Measurement Methodology | 20% | Quality of the data collection process — frequency, instrumentation, and calibration standards. |
| Oracle Consensus | 20% | Number of independent validations and the geographic diversity of oracle nodes. |
| Additionality | 15% | Proof that the water savings would not have occurred without the project intervention. |
| Co-Benefits & SDGs | 10% | Contribution to biodiversity, community welfare, and UN Sustainable Development Goals. |
| Permanence | 10% | Long-term monitoring plan and risk mitigation against reversal of water savings. |
